The 6th Annual Women in Wine Celebration promises an unforgettable afternoon where Sabrina Tinsley, La Spiga's Executive Chef and Co-owner, will team up with Urban Connoisseurs Founder Marcia Jones to spotlight the brilliance of women in the wine world. Get tickets to join the tasting experience and sip on artisanal wines, mingle with inspiring female winemakers, and indulge in a lavish charcuterie spread by La Dispensa. Proceeds will support the Black Winemakers Scholarship Fund, making it a perfect blend of celebration and purpose.

Since the inception of PopRox, our owners Kinsey and Cathy have always wanted to ensure that we built the value of “giving back” into the core of our business. Moving forward, we will be selecting existing classes where all proceeds will be donated to rotating local charities, organizations, and non-profits that are working to protect the rights of our community members.

This month, we are excited to be donating all proceeds from the following class to Lambert House, a local non-profit in Seattle that empowers LQBTQIA+ and questioning youth through the development of leadership, social, & life skills.

Jennifer Isaacson, Yoga Instructor, has teamed up with Sweatbox Yoga to offer Cloud Room members complimentary unheated beginner group classes focused on flexibility, core strength, and spinal health. You’ll feel the difference and walk away with simple tools to support your body and mind. Meet us in the Cloud Room Lounge 10 minutes prior and we’ll walk over to the studio as a group.

Yoga mats will be provided, all you need are clothes comfy enough to stretch in!

This in-person class at our Capitol Hill store will go over basic hand-sewing techniques. It is designed for those with zero sewing experience, but you’re welcome to come along if you have some sewing skills and would like a refresh. All materials will be provided.

Do you have garments that need some attention, but are lacking the tools to fix a hole, re-attach a button, or sew on a patch? Bring your garments and come sew with us! We’ll have needles and thread, a selection of buttons, embroidery floss and hoops, Sashiko stencils, scraps of fabric, and scissors.

Loneliness Epidemic. Y’all heard of this? If you’re in Seattle, it’s likely more visceral than a rumor. In 2023, the @u.s.surgeongeneral released a report finding that this lack of connection can increase the risk of premature death comparable to smoking 15 cigarettes a day. The current news cycle can’t help much these feelings of isolation, and it’s easy to withdraw further into your tech as a result.

This coming Friday is a day where couples descend upon restaurants for a romantic evening to celebrate their love. It’s typically a turning point for the hospitality industry every year because it marks the point at which people actually start going out again after the holidays and the ever dreaded “dry” January. It only gets better from here, we think 😉.

Well, this time on Valentine’s Day we want to celebrate with ALL of you. But, we especially want to prioritize the single people, the groups of single people, the parties of 3, 5 or 7. We’ll provide paper, vintage ephemera, scissors, glue, tape, and other materials to create mailable valentines. Each participant will also get one domestic postage stamp to mail their creation! Feel free to bring any other materials you might like to use or share.
